Based on the well known Archie Comics, which have been in production since 1939, Riverdale follows Archie and his friends and all the unknown that occurs within their small town. The show is already in its second season, and the fifth episode airs this Wednesday. Riverdale has been a very hot topic.

The show mainly revolves around four characters. Archie Andrews, Jughead Jones, Veronica Lodge, and Betty Cooper. These four high school friends are always together, and of course, are always trying to solve mysteries. The group took on the peculiar case of Jason Blossom’s murder in the first season, rounding up more clues than the police department and solving the case all together.

This season, the group is set on doing the same thing once again. There is a new guy in town who calls himself the “Black Hood.” and he was acquainted with Archie’s dad, Fred Andrews. The Black Hood shot him in the middle of Pop’s diner and moved onto his next victim, Ms. Grundy, Archie’s old “lover”. The hooded man then goes onto two more victims, but luckily they survived, like Fred Andrews.

Archie is ready to fight against the Black Hood and created the Red Circle, a group whose main goal is to help and protect the citizens of Riverdale.

The group of four is back in action in this dramatic murder mystery, as they are ready to solve yet another case together, and catch the Black Hood.

Tune in this Wednesday on CW at 8pm to watch what happens next on Riverdale.
