The NCAA Men’s Basketball season has now gotten into full swing, which means that Michigan State Basketball is well ready and in the Izzone. There are many high expectations for this season, especially for sophomore, Miles Bridges. Bridges, who was expected by many to go to the 2017 NBA Draft, decided to stay in school for another year saying, “There’s unfinished business here.”

The Michigan State Basketball team has always been a Top-25 team for many years and has had many great players such as NBA stars Draymond Green, Gary Harris, Denzel Valentine, Magic Johnson and many more. This team has been on top of their expectations, even when they’re the underdogs.

Last season, the Spartans went to the NCAA Tournament as a #9 seed in the Midwest Region. They won in the first round against Miami(FL) but then lost to the Kansas

Jayhawks in the second round, one round short of a Sweet Sixteen bid. In the Pre-season Coaches Poll, Michigan State made it into the Top-25 at the #2 spot. Now that the season has started and underway, the Spartans only have one loss, that came to the Duke Blue Devils on November 14. That loss hasn’t stopped the Spartans from winning.

The team is currently on a 8-game winning streak and hope to keep the streak alive. Now ranked #3 overall in the country, the Spartans still have lots of gamesto play and will continue to play their hearts out.
