The Macomb Public Library Comi-con also known as MPLC was last week on Saturday the 28th. The Comic-Con was a opportunity for gamers, fans, and people just looking for fun to come and enjoy the atmosphere.

At the library you were able to participate in a costume contest, play older arcade games including Mario on NES, the original Legend of Zelda, and dance dance revoltion. Along with electronic games they also had an escape room, tabletop games, crafting room, and a Dungeons and Dragons set up.

Along with the fun and games of the event there was also a collection of artists selling prints and even one of a kind originals. Many of the artists had lgbtq+ pieces and was refreshing to see such a positive community people.

Many people dressed up for the event including a Captain America, Ghostbusters, and the always present Star Wars fans. Everyone one seemed to have a great time and loved the professional cosplayers.

The MPLC was a great time for all attendees and was a huge success for the library.
