Looking for a way to start eating healthier, while still eating sweet foods? Well here’s your answer: fruit popsicles! Very popular on social media, such as Pinterest, these fruity treats are a low calorie snack sure to wow your taste buds. The popsicles are a good snack if you’re in a rush or on-the-go and a good source of vitamins. The recipe is also very simple, making these a super easy treat to make.

Here’s the things you will need:

  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 lime
  • fruit of your choice

Note: Before making these, make sure to put your fruit in the freezer.

Now the first thing you are going to do is combine the 1/2 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water in a small saucepan. Bring that to a medium heat until the sugar has completely dissolved. After that, take your frozen fruit of choice and blend them, along with an even amount of lime juice, until smooth. The amount of lime juice can vary depending on how many different types of fruit you would like to use. Then add an even amount, again depending on how many different fruits you use, to the blended fruit. Poor your first layer of fruit mixture into a popsicle tray and let it sit in the freezer for 20 minutes. Repeat this with however many layers you would like and viola; you’ve got fruit pops! Enjoy!
